A 32-day menstrual cycle is slightly longer than the average 28 days, but falls well within the normal, healthy range of 21 to 35 days. For a longer cycle, ovulation happens later.
Calculating Ovulation Day
- Formula: 32 days (total cycle) โ 14 days (luteal phase) = Day 18
- The Result: You will typically ovulate on Day 18 of your cycle.
Your Fertile Window (Days 13โ19)
- Days 13โ15: Early fertile window.
- Days 16โ18: Peak fertility days.
- Day 19: Fertile window closes.
Because ovulation occurs later (Day 18), you have a longer follicular phase. This is normal and simply means your body takes a few extra days to mature and release the egg.
